Sound quality is an assessment of the accuracy and enjoyability. Loudspeaker sound is all about transferring the sound waves from the loudspeaker drivers to you, and reducing disturbing vibrations and noises from the cabinet. Different materials give different vibration levels. Traditionally, loudspeakers are made from wood because of its low cost and ability to reduce vibrations.
JERN aims for the perfect sound. This is the cornerstone in our design, components, choice of materials and production.
The JERN12, JERN14 and JERN w8000 loudspeakers are made from our vibration absorbing grey cast Iron, which reduce vibrations up to 100 times better than Aluminium. Our cabinets are also much better than MDF and wood. This Iron is our key to the clear and clean sound, which the JERN loudspeakers delivers.
